Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)

What is RCIA?
RCIA is Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.    Classes meet from October until Easter.  Anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or becoming a member of the Catholic church is welcome to attend.  Spouses and friends are welcome.

Meetings:

RCIA

Beginning Oct. 15, 2020 at 7 p.m. we will be teaching classes in the Catholic faith.  If you would be interested in learning more about the Catholic Church we invite you to join the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults classes.  This could simply be an opportunity to understand and inquire to learn more about the faith.  Our RCIA meets every Thursday evening at 7 p.m. from October 15 until about one week after Easter Sunday.  During these meetings, topics like:  Scripture, the Sacraments, Prayer, Jesus, the Catholic Church, Morality, and many other similar topics will be discussed.  The RCIA community will pray together, and hopefully grow spiritually.  If your spouse would like to accompany you on your journey and attend RCIA with you we would certainly welcome and encourage that participation.  Our hope is that those seeking a better understanding of the Catholic faith could maybe even find their way to become members of our Church and parish.

If you would be interested in learning more about the faith, or if you know someone who is interested in joining our RCIA group  this year; or even if you have any questions about the RCIA yourself, please call Fr. Ebert or Deacon Michael Burch at (573) 431-2427.  We ask that you pray about it, and if interested please contact us.

This past year we welcomed Harry Pearce into fully initiated membership in the Catholic faith.  Pray we, by the grace of God, continue to share our faith.
