The Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment Program exists to create a safe environment for our children and vulnerable adults. The Archdiocesan Website can be accessed at http://www.archstl.org.
 
Archdiocesan Policy:
 
The Archdiocese of St. Louis is committed to the prevention of child abuse and to assisting those who are affected by incidents of child abuse.  For purposes of this policy, child abuse means physical injury, sexual abuse, or emotional abuse inflicted on a child, other than by accidental means, by those responsible for the child's care, custody and control or from persons who are agents or employees of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.  All employees, volunteers, religious, priests and deacons working in the schools, parishes and agencies of the Archdiocese of St.  Louis are required to support this Policy and to comply with the Procedures developed to implement the Policy.
 
SAFE ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM COMPLIANCE

Anyone who works with or volunteers with children must be compliant with the Safe Environment Program of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis set forth by the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops).

The Office of Child and Youth Protection has provided a reminder that employees at both the Cardinal Rigali Center and at off-site locations must register in the Prevent and Protect STL system by December 31, 2020 at which time your current compliance will expire.

Safe Environment compliance is a condition of employment as stated in the Employee Handbook so we kindly ask for your cooperation if you have not yet registered.  After January 1, 2021, directors will be notified of those employees whose compliance has lapsed.  Thank you to all those who have completed the updated program and thank you in advance to those who will register soon.

If registering as a volunteer or employee of Immaculate Conception, Park Hills or St. John the Apostle, Bismarck, please select Parish or Parish School as the type of location, and  Immaculate Conception Parish (Park Hills) as the specific location
